Default Inlet Profile with CFX-Pre

Hello all,

Could someone help me out with this problem? I have a structured mesh and I would to introduce an inlet profile in the shape of a step function (on-off-on) to simulate the velocity flow behind in the wake region behind a turbine blade. Is this possible in cfx-pre? I know there is an option to set a simple inlet profile in cfx-pre but the profile I am creating will almost divide the inlet into three regions, if you will.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi,

Look in the reference manual under CEL. Use either the step function or a 1D interpolation function.
