How can I auto generate mesh files in workbench for several input files? I have a parameter in each file that is just varied a little bit. Cheers Kim

You can not generate mesh in workbench, since It is for geometry generation.

Hi Kim,
It sounds like you are looking for design explorer (DX) - it is a separate tool you can use in workbench to alter mesh, geometry, etc and run sensitivity studies however you like. You need a different license for it, but it is quite inexpensive compared to the rest of the products and allows for automation of lots of CFD runs in a few clicks. Note: I have never used it for this, and frequently when I tell people they can do this I am told I am wrong, but I have confirmed that my support person does this all the time and uses DX with CFX inside workbench no problem. -Alex |
