My Supervisor gave me a def. File, and I make some changes, like decreasing the outlet mass flow rate. After changing the boundary condition, I want to output the def. File for later cluster calculation using Write Solver Input File. Then the following error comes: "The file path /dss/t7new_geometry/fran_rr.def is not recognised for this platform.

I think the file path is Linux-Form, which is why, but how can I change this file path to Windows form?

Could someone help me?

I assume you did the changes to the mass flow rate in CFX-Pre.

In CFX-Pre you should go to the execution options and set the file and path for the definition file to be written. In fact, I recommend you get rid of all the path and just put the file name you want. It will then write it in the current working directory regardless of which OS you are using.

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll try replacing the forward slashes with backslashes in the file path and see if that resolves the issue. I'll make sure to use double backslashes if needed. I appreciate the help, and I’ll update you on the result. It’s good to know the difference between path formats on Linux and Windows, so I’ll make sure the paths are correct for the system I’m using. Thanks again for your support! For more insights and a complete overview, feel free to check out the detailed information available at this link: https://mycompany.filemail.com/d/fdmcpoqiinyajyg
