Hi,
I would like to simulate the behavior of a copper heat exchanger at cryogenic temperatures.

In such environments, the material properties change significantly. A common approach is to define tables with values for each Kelvin, specifying the corresponding:
Temperature Specific Heat Capacity Thermal Conductivity Electrical conductivity

Could someone provide an example of a properly
Code:
.CCL
file for this purpose? I can fill with the values, just I dont know the correct syntax. Thank you!

If the properties are a function of temperature only then it is easy to do. In CFX-Pre use a 1-D interpolation function. They are quite simple to set up so you should work it out quickly. Also the CFX-Pre documentation can help.

In the meantime I found a way. I put it here in case. This is for copper with RRR=10 and it contains: Resistivity, Thermal conductivity, Specific heat vs. temperature . You can have more points for higher resolution.

It is much easier if you do it as a 1D interpolation function.
Opaque likes this.
