Hi guys
Can I impose outlet values of longer duct, which I have run as steady state, on my actual duct which I want to run as unsteady state. Regards |

Hi,
You should be able to save it as a BC profile and use that in your transient boundary condition. Glenn Horrocks |

On CFX-Post, create a file in exporting a file.dat with the coordinates x,y, and z plus your values of your variable! You must create a plane or a line to do this on the outlet of your computational domain!

Hi Rogerio
Thank you for your answer. Can I not simply export BC profile of my results? For location I can select inlet and profile type as Inlet Velocity. Is this method correct? Regards |

Output tab => CFX-Pre: create some points (x,y,z) on outlet with velocities and after that, u will able to use them on the next simulation! Itīs easy!
