Icem mesh not so good

Hi, im trying to generate a simple mesh for my geometry. The pre-mesh looks ok but when I generate hexa-dominant mesh it looks strange. this is the pre-mesh -> http://img391.imageshack.us/my.php?image=mesh1tl0.jpg

and this is the result -> http://img201.imageshack.us/my.php?image=mesh2ul4.jpg

It doesnt matter the maximum size, the mesh always goes wrong. I just want to create a mesh that looks like the pre-mesh.

thank you

Did you use blocks? Or not? If not, you will find a mesh without a conection, like a meshing with blocks.

To convert your blocking into an actual mesh, just right-click "Pre-Mesh" and select "Convert to Untructured".

You can right click "Pre-Mesh" and then select "Convert to Unstructured" or other items. It is up to your solver.

In other words - you don't want to use hexa-dominant mesh at all. Just convert your pre-mesh to unstructured - then write that for your solver.

thank you all, problem solved with "convert to unstructured"
