Hello,

I am trying to generate mesh using Hexa option of ICEM CFD but getting negative determinant for many cells and also negative volumes for several cells. How can i correct this?

Hi, try to change maximal size of element in problem surface also you can modify your bloking (if negative volumes is a result of so small minimal angles)

If u have several circle curves, u must use o-grid mesh, to avoid bad angles or so small angles. Remake your block, so! Tell us about your geometry. We´re very interesting to know it!

Step through your pre-mesh with scan planes, that should show where it is folding. Also, if you have created a block from vertices, you may have an inverted block, and will need to re-orient the IJK indices.
