Dear All,
I need to make use of the circumferential partitioning in CFX-11.0. However, I do not want to do this through the Solver Paritioning tab. Any information on how to setup circumferential partitioning through the CCL or as an option in -part-mode would be greatly appreciated. Regards, K.M.E. |

Khaled, If you run your problem once, the CCL information needed for the circumferential partitioning will be recorded on both the out and res files. Check them for that and copy the appropriate session to you own definition file. I believe it should be under EXECUTION CONTROL.

Thanks for the info. I did manage to figure out how to include the required ccl segment from the .out file. I did have some trouble figuring out how to define the rotation axis, but managed to get that done too, so in summary I do have circumferential partitioning which I visually verified in CFX-Post. Thanks for taking the time to respond, I really appreciate having this open forum.
