Hi everyone,
I am struggling with doing a 3D FSI simulation (bridge deck in airflow). I made an Ansys input file and a CFX model. It seems the simulation runs correctly, but zero forces sent by the CFX to the Ansys solver, and consequently no mesh deformation at all. There is an inlet velocity, so force should be appeared on the solid object... Thanks, Geri |

Are you sure you selected the corrected face(s) for interfacing both in fluid and solid parts? I made that mistake once and it was because I selected the wrong face.
