Good morning everyone, I would like to build a sinusoidal Geometry with ICEM CFD. Is there any other possibilities instead of drawing the geometry manually ? I mean like giving a function and some parameters such as Amplitude and the length of the wave ? Could anybody help me ? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I would do the modelling in a solid modelling package and import it into workbench, but that's just me. ICEM might have some ability to do what you want but I don't know. I doubt it.

It gives me a feeling of sinusoidal boudary instead of sinusoidal geometry. But I doubt that the sinusoidal geometry can be generated at all.

Hi,

"I doubt that the sinusoidal geometry can be generated at all"????!!! This is completely wrong. It is easy in a solid modelling package.

maybe u can use a sine (or cosine, i think) function. I did it in my doctarate thesis, for a 2D geometry.

Call me throught, if u want it!

cheers!
