Hi every body

I modeled 2 rotating solid with different angles, 30 and 90 degree using CFX.

The interface of those defined as frozen rotor. In the solver this error has occured:
+--------------------------------------------------------------------+
ERROR #001100279 has occurred in subroutine ErrAction.
Message:
Floating point exception: Zero divide

+--------------------------------------------------------------------+

+--------------------------------------------------------------------+
ERROR #001100279 has occurred in subroutine ErrAction.
Message:
Stopped in routine FPX: C_FPX_HANDLER

+--------------------------------------------------------------------+

+--------------------------------------------------------------------+
An error has occurred in cfx5solve:

The ANSYS CFX solver exited with return code 1. No results file
has been created.
+--------------------------------------------------------------------+

End of solution stage.

This run of the ANSYS CFX Solver has finished.

what should I do??

I tried so finer mesh too, but dosnt work.
just by changing the frozen rotor to None or deleting the interface the error is omited!

Is there any body to help me?

by the way this model is part of a conjugate model that I try to solve the mentioned error first.

look forwad for your comments.

So many thanks.

Did you get a floating point error before this? If so, FAQ: https://www.cfd-online.com/Wiki/Ansy...do_about_it.3F

The error is stating divide by zero error. So either you set it up wrong which results in divide by zero (so you have to fix your set up), or it is diverging and getting divide by zero (and the FAQ I linked to is what to do).
