Torque coefficient evaluation

Hi!
I was trying to analyse flow around a H-rotor, a type of vertical axis wind rotor. I made my rotor profile in gambit and set up the problem in fluent. I applied boundary conditions of velocity inlet, prerssure outlet, and farfield conditions. And I used K-epsilon turbulent model. I wanted to obtain the efficiency or power coefficient of the rotor. But the problem is that the torque coefficients, in the force monitor window section, were coming out to be negative. I am really in deep problem,as I am not able to make any further progress. I will be immensely glad and happy if someone of you suggests me solution to this. PLZ DONOT LEAVE IT FOR OTHERS, AS IT IS YOU WHO CAN HELP ME. THANKS! |
