ANSYS now owns multiple mesh generation programs, including CFD Mesh, Gambit, Ansys Mesh, ICEM, and maybe more. ANSYS will focus thier meshing development efforts towards a single meshing program (TBD). However, my understanding is that Gambit will NOT be that program and future development efforts for Gambit are being discontinued.
I welcome insights from others as to where ANSYS may be trending in future meshing development. |
