Unusual Three Phase Problem
Hi, I have a CFD problem with three phase in one domian(two continuous liquid phase and one dispersed gaseous phase). It seems cfx can't handle this problem since the manul doesn't introduce any similar example. Someone suggest me using additional variable to setting the dispered phase. I doubt whether additional variable fits my problem. Please give me some advice. Thanks a lot!

Re: Unusual Three Phase Problem
Hi Michael
All you need to do is choose 2 continuous liquid pahses and one dispersed gaseous phase for the domain fluid materials. I haven't tried it myself, but you can do that with the dispersed phases, so i assume you can also do it for the liquid phase. Adam |
Re: Unusual Three Phase Problem
Hi,Adam
I tried the same method just like you suggest before, but failed. Is it true that cfx can only solve the multiphase flow problem with no more than one continuous phase? Michael |
