Default ICEM11 get mesh -ve volume and -ve determinant

I am newbie using CFX11. I want to model flow in an meandering river channel, which include a depain main chanel with very shallow floodplain. The geometry is generated by import a cross-section data. I split it into 4 blocks. My project file using ICEM 11 can be obtained from. http://rapidshare.de/files/40748695/..._mesh.rar.html

The generated mesh as show above has a lot of negative determinant value, most of them are close to the bend of channel. I tried different ways (such as increase node numbers, i.e. decrease mesh element size) and unable to improve the mesh quality.

Can anyone help to give a guide or clue how I can improve the mesh quality.

Many thanks.
