Hello, I'm trying to perform DES simulation of bluff body flow. Without cavitation model, I obtain a consistent result: Monitoring the DES blending function, I have got LES behaviour in the wake of the bluff body and RANS in the rest of the domain. When I try using the standard rayleigh plesset cavitation model, I obtain, as expected, cavitation in the wake but the turbulence model switch to RANS in the entire domain. Does somebody knowns why/how the cavitation model has an influence on the DES blending function?
