Coal particles in combustion chamber

Hello

We are trying to simulate an existent cylindrical combustion chamber (cyclone combustion chamber) with coal injection, but the particles are trapped in a recirculation inside the chamber and never leave the domain, causing high temperature errors (+20.000K)

We tryed to increase the limits of particle integration (time, distance), without success.

Has anyone successfully simulated a cylindrical combustion chamber with tangential coal injection?

Best regards

I think you need to check the solver control setup in pre.

Did you checked what happens with your coal particles? I would expect that in the worst case only ash remains. In that case you should have the issure of trapped ash particles but not the temperature issue.

You should decrease the particle integration limits.
