Hi everyone,
I am trying to simulate the ammonia mass transfer through the liquid-gas interface in a wind tunnel. There is air flow over the liquid emission face and I'd like to get the concentration profiles in both liquid and air. In liquid, there are several components that will be controlled by chemical reaction balance equations (the reaction goes in both way). May I do it in CFX? If I can, would you give some suggestions about what is a good start for this kind of simulations? Thank you very much! |

Hi,
I am no expert on chemistry modelling but I am pretty sure this can be done in CFX. I think there are some tutorial examples for chemistry, and I am pretty sure more examples are coming with CFX V12 (due out very soon I am promised). Glenn Horrocks |

Hi Glenn,
Thank you very much for your post. It's good news that V12 will have more examples for chemistry. But if there is anyone who has experience of this kind of simulation, please feel freely to share me with some basic knowledge of modelling the chemical reaction in CFX. Thank you. |
