Regenerative Pump simulation using CFX

Hi, I am trying to simulate performance of a regenerative turbine pump. Using steady state analysis, i could get somewhat acceptable results that of tests, but, while simulating the same problem in transient yields unrealistic values.. What could be the reason behind too much variations between transient and steady state simulation...
