Solving flow after 5 time steps

Hi
I am solving a transient problem in which flow does not change substantially with time steps but temperature does.
Is there any option in CFX by which I can solve flow after say 5 timesteps and energy at every timesteps.
Thanks

The short answer is no. It can probably be done through user fortran, but you'd need to get some details from ANSYS support on exactly how to do it.

Hi,

You can turn the various solvers on and off entirely using expert parameters but there is no easy way to run the energy solver for 5 steps then do 1 fluids solve.
