I want to analyze the tip effect of a stationary blade. But I am confronted with the mesh problem. The spanwise distance of the whole domain is set to 0.6m while the span of the balde is set to 0.5m. A distance of 0.1m is left. I try to use ANSYS Workbench to build unstructured mesh. But it is always an error. Has any guy try this kind of simulation before? How did you create the grid? Thanks in advance!

Hi
What error are you getting. The mesh size between the gap should be sufficiently small. BOL |
