Hi everyone,

I am writing here to enquire information about way of applying boundary conditions at Directional valve. I modeled internal path into valve and inlet and outlet pipe.

Information about valve:
Q=1400l/min
min/ max pressure 3-10bar

I want to determine delta p
and my Question is how to apply BC in Ansys CFX 11, I have noticed that i we have opportunity to choose

in inlet section:
Total Speed, Comp. speed, static pressure, total pressure, mass flow rate

in outlet section:
averaged static pressure, normal speed, static pressure, mass flow rate. eventually what relative pressure I have to assume?

And now I have a problem, because theoretically i can determine total speed from Q, but I don't know what to apply at outlet.

I am aware that it is obvious for most of you but i am really beginner so if someone can help I will be grad.
