Hi all,

I encountered a error message from solver manager when I ran a transient simulation , it said,
Details of error:-
----------------
Error detected by routine LOCDAT
CDANAM = AROT/VALUE
CRESLT = NONE

Current Directory : /FLOW/PHYSICS/ZN1/MOTION

Writing crash recovery file |

ERROR #001100279 has occurred in subroutine ErrAction. Message:
Stopped in routine MEMERR
An error has occurred in fx5solve:
The ANSYS CFX solver exited with return code 1. No results file has been created.

In this simulation, I firstly made the domain rotating for a period of time, and a res file was generated at the end, as an initial value file for the following simulation, in which the domain suddenly stopped to be stationary.

Has anybody encountered the similar problem please? Any method to fix it? Thanks a lot.

Hi,

I suspect that you are doing a rotating frame of reference simulation but have not defined the rotational speed. Make sure it is defined.

In the restart make the domain stationary by setting a value of zero for the rotation rate, rather than switching to a stationary domain.
