hi,
after a steady state simulation around a NACA 4415 airfoil i have plotted the cp_polar (the plot is attached) and noticed a oscillation of the pressure coefficient cp! the used turbulence model was SST! what may be the reasons for that oscillation? Thanks! |

Hi,
My first guess is facetting of the geometry. You need a smoother shape. Second guess is incomplete convergence. Glenn Horrocks |
