Dear all,
good afternoon. Does anyone of you know how to export the results of a simulation from CFX-Post? I'd like to use Tecplot 360 for making graphs and images, but I don't know what to do with CFX-Post. I tried to use the EXPORT command in CFX-Post and then export something in a .dat form, but when I load the .dat file in Tecplot it does not work. Any help please? Thanks a bunch. Cheers, M. |

Hi,
In the solver manager try tools/export (I think that's right, don't have CFX in front of me right now). Glenn Horrocks |

Well, that's what I did but it did not work out. I exported a .dat file, like I usually did with Fluent, but then when I opened it in Tecplot what I got was a caos....

Don't forget to try other formats, they may work better. CGNS is one to try. Have a look at all the formats CFX exports and Tecplot imports and give them a go.
