Dear friends,
I set the RMS residual target as 10e-6 to solve a problem. The results got converged and the results are as I expected. But the legend of the graph says that the curves are "RMS mass", "RMS U-momentum" , "RMS V-momentum", "RMS W-momentum". My question is, whether these curves are indicating the convergence of density, u, v, w velocities??? Thank you.. |

No, the residuals are from the mass/continuity and momentum equations as these are the actual equations the solver is working on. The documentation describes how the residuals are calculated.
