Solidification in Ansys CFX (12.0 )

Hello, i'm trying to setup a simple casting process in ansys cfx. it's pretty much a aluminium mixture at temperature high enough to be in the mushy zone (That is, having a solid and liquid fraction different from 1 or zero) in contact with a solid part (steel) and a sand mold, which will have a heat transfer cof. at it's walls.

Now i don't even want to think now how to setup the whole filling process, but right now i need to know: How can i setup the cooling of solidification mixture in ansys cfx ? would i have to setup a variable composition mixture with a solid aluminium and a... liquid aluminium ? an homogeneus binary mixture...? i don't know really how should i setup the materials, any clue about this ? Thanks in advance.

ansys have a solidification example for continuous casting which uses customised excecutable solver. contact your ansys representative for details
