how to calculate number of processor and RAM require for solving 1 million element? pls someone explain the basic theory behind this calculation.

Hi,

It's depending not only on the number of elements. The physic of the modell is also important, for example. Generally 1 million elements requires 1 GB of RAM for the run. But more is recommened. Processor: as fast as possible, with multicore you can speed up your simulation of course...
