Wall Heat Flux

Hi,
This might be a basic question.
At a solid-fluid interface, CFX calculates the convective HTC from the heat flux. My question is how does it arrive at the heat flux. Is it from the enthalpy calculated from the thermal energy equation? If yes what's the relation.

Appreciate anyone who answers.

Regards
Luke

It is discussed in the wall boundary conditions for turbulence in the documentation. The solver calculates a heat flux based on the local flow conditions and calculates the heat transfer coefficient from that. For more details see the doco.
