break-up model tutorial (for liquid octane injection)
 

Does anyone know of any turial that goes through explaining the basics of the break-up model? I want to have liquid octane injection at a certain pressure.
I know the dynamics/multi-phase of injection is very complex, but for now, I am looking at getting an average speed of the resulting spray.

You will have to talk to CFX support for an example of breakup models. As for basic spray breakup modelling, try your local uni library and journals. Rietz is a key author in the field so that might be a good starting point - in the CFX documentation they reference his work for at least one of the breakup models in CFX so start by tracking that paper down.
