The tutorial examples show how to do this. Have a look there to start. Then there are lots more examples on the CFX-Community page on the ANSYS website.

You need to have the material properties necessary to complete your simulation handy. For example, if you have laminar flow, you need transport properties. If you have heat transfer, you also need quantities such as specific heat, conductivity, etc. Creating a new material is pretty easy in CFX. Just click the flask icon in the tool bar and name your material, select it's type (solid, fluid, porous, etc) and enter the relevant properties. Hope that helps.

Reynolds number

I am new to ANSYS CFX,
I am trying to analyze fluid flow in a venturi pipe.
I want to find the pressure at different places inside the venturi .
What shall I do?
How to set my inlet initial conditions?
I want to introduce Reynolds number in my boundary condition, How to do this?
what is my outlet condition?

These are very basic questions and are covered well in the tutorials. Have a look at the tutorials which come with CFX.
