shaban is on a distinguished road
Hi,

I am working on Flutter proble where we are only intersted in transient simulation results. At teh start of CFX solver I use steady state results as initial values.

I want to ask please that ''while running for steady state results (to use as initial values for transient case) if the RMS value in one case is 1E-4 and in other 1E-5. Then by using which result file as initial values in transient simulation will give me better reslts or it does not matter except the time to take for the transient simulation to converg''?

Thanking in advance

If you are only interested in the final flutter profile the details of the initial condition is unlikely to be important. Very loose convergence on the initial condition should be fine.
