Map Temperature Field for Structural Analysis

Hi again,

is there a way to map the temperature field from a cht analysis to a structural analysis in ansys (classic or workbench..)?

Regards!

I beleive there's a beta feature in CFD-Post that will do this. Not sure of the details though, I would ask Ansys support if nobody here knows.

just pump it through a thermal analysis

i know, its not very nice to do the same temperature solution twice, but if you apply most or even all of the surface temperatures, it will be fairly quick.

Plus, i remember reading in the Ansys help, that load passing from CFX to Structural only supports pressure loads.
