LES in CFX

Hi,
I am working on Large eddy simulation project. I am to use CFX but I've been searching for how I can use LES models in CFX. Can anyone advise on how I can set up my LES models?

Regards

I think you need the advanced turbulence models license for this (or a full capabilities license). Make sure your license allows you to do it. You might need to set up LES in CCL, I am not sure. If you can't work it out the best way to get started is to ask for a demo CCL from your CFX support person.

LES is included with all licenses (DES and SAS need a full capability license). Unless you are using an old version of CFX, then you just pick your turbulence model as one of the LES options (hit the "..." icon next to turbulence model box). Read the doc for recommended mesh, boundary condition and timestep settings.
