Which advection scheme is appropriate in case of sharp gradients and in case of some transient analysis where properties changes suddenly? For example, In case of Internal combustion engine combustion analysis(transient), there is a sudden rise in the pressure and temperature at the end of compression stroke.
thanks in advance. sachin |

The High Resolution scheme is a good one for this case.
