Hello CFX Users,

I would like to calculate a 3D wing with deflected ailerons. Goal of the simulation is to investigate the flow around the wing during the rotation. What do you think, can the „rotating domain” option give correct result? (I use CFX 11.0)

Thanks in advance

Roland

Hi, Roland

If u want to use the rotational domain, u have to configure the exact rotational speed. do u have this information? if so, of course u can get the correct simulation result.

Hello Zhaowei,

yes, Based on the measurements I know the rot. speed in the case of this (maximum) aileron deflection.

Thanks for your help
