hi,

i'm a basic learner in cfx to simulate flows!!! kindly help me!! anyone please tell how to simulate the couvette flow? how to give cfx pre conditions to simulate moving plate?

This is all covered in the tutorials which come with CFX <CFXROOT>/examples and the tutorials available on the ANSYS customer page.

I think you are referring to "Couette" rather than "Couvette." Correct spelling may help you in searching.

Simply apply the usual no-slip condition. However, the option for Wall Velocity needs to be checked and then the value for the velocity needs to be entered.
