Incidence and deviation angle for axial turbomachines
I would like to measure incidence and deviation angle after my CFX run and want to varify with my design point.... suggest me the way to determine it in CFX12

Choose a point and get the Velocities in the X and Y directions (or whatever your coordinate system is) and work out the angles.

Thank you sir,

I tried with turbo line option but it is giving me different values at different locations and is but obvious.
secondly i used polyline (using LE nad TE co-ordinates) option and tried with but still it is also giving different values of blade angles from my design point...looking to velocity vectors it seems ok..

what is the good appromation method but suggest...

The CFD-Post turbo macro should be useful for you.

Are you saying your simulation is not accurate or that you cannot visual it?

simmulation seems ok but i want to verify my blade angles.. i tried with point option and using probe with defining angle as ratio of two velocities.

i am confused with velocity in stn frame u.Beta,vBeta,w beta... what it means...

there is a variation in hand calculated and cfx output file!!!!
