Water injection
 

Hello dear members
I want to setup and run a problem in CFX 12, the problem is hot air flow in a duct in which the water is sprayed into the flow, air temperature is almost 600C and water is 30C. I need to setup the problem in a way that can capture the water evaporation and I want to know how this is possible using Continueos fluid-dispersed fluid? I dont want to use Lagrangian particle transport simulation coz I really dont need that exact and detailed solutuin of water droplets, Average quantities can be enough!
If anyone knows how to capture water evaporation in Cont. Fluid|Dispersed Fluid pairs I will appreciate to tell me how??

Yes, this can be done. Here are some tutorial examples which may be of interest, they describe a few approaches to eularian/eularian models.
