Turbomachine is on a distinguished road
Dear All,

I am trying to do forced vibration simulation in CFX. Let me refer to the discussion posted earlier:

http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/cfx...e-v12-0-a.html

I was doing the same sort of thing i.e. define the deformation as the function of the initial displacement given by:

x0= x- Total Mesh Displacement x
y0..
z0..

CFX 12.0 says that is is undefined at the beginning of the simulation and the program crashes. As you can see in the earlier discussion the problem wasn't present in Ansys 11 which I can also confirm.

Since Ansys 12.0 is famous for its many bugs, does anyone know if the problem has been corrected for version 12.1??

Or has anyone found the way 'round the problem??

Thank you for the help
