Hello all
I have simulated a stage of turbine, considering rotor-stator interaction in ANSYS CFX. I wanna determine total pressure loss contours in a constant streamwise location surface. Can anybody help me to define the required CEL? The CEL should be defined in Pre- or Post-processor?
Thanks

If the simulation is complete than the post processor. Have a look at the tutorials for hints on post processing. Also check out the turbo machinery post-processing tutorial example, it should give you some hints.

Thanks ghorrocks
Actually I have problem in defining of this kind of loss per each point of grid. Another problem is how to define vortex in these points.

You can define a variable in CFD-Post as Initial total pressure - local total pressure and that will give you the total pressure loss. Is this what you are looking for? Do the CFD-Post tutorials for advice on how to set up variables in CFD-Post.

CFD-Post also has some vortex detection gizmos, again look at the tutorials.

Dear ghorrocks
After studing the tutorials, although I couldn't resolve my problem, but what you said gave me an insight to find the answer.
