Good day!!
I want to calculate turbine blade with a turbulence model which is not included to CFX. How I can add my own turbulence models to CFX 13? If anybody knows please help me. Thanks a lot! |

Hey,
I don't think you can add your own turbulence model to cfx-13. You just can adapt the existing ones. But I am not 100% sure ..... I think an expert here will answer soon |

Yes, you can write your own turbulence models. Use additional variables to define the equations and source terms to link them back into the flow equations. This is no trivial exercise and you will be a little limited in that you cannot do complex models - for instance you would not be able to do a Reynolds Stress model using this approach as it has terms more complex than additional variables and source terms allow.
