A negative ELEMENT volume

Hello all,

I'm doing an Transient FSI using CFX. When I start the CFX solver I get A NEGATIVE ELEMENT VOLUME error.
I'm using a moving mesh, so I think this is the source of the problem.
How can prevent it?

Thanks,
Pavelko

This is a common problem in FSI simulation. It simply means you have moved the mesh far enough to cause some elements to turn inside out and that means the solver will fail. You have to improve the mesh motion specification to bettyer handle the motion, include remeshing or change the model to use other approaches (for instance GGI interfaces).
