dshwayze is on a distinguished road
in running and modifying the model for a flow through a pipe valve, when calculating, the static pressure averaging over the outlet and the inlet why is it ideal to use the aveArea averaging method rather than others on the function calculator?

also, i calculated the loss coefficients Ck at Wmax = 5 and at Wmax = 10. why is it not appropriate to increase the Wmax more than a factor of 5?
