Symmetry and Periodic BC
 
Is the symmetry BC in CFX same as periodic BC used in FLUENT ???

No!

The symmetry BC is CFX is the same as the symmetry BC in Fluent. Hopefully that was obvious......

Yes, it is also called a periodic boundary in CFX. Look it up in the documentation. You may have missed it because it is under interfaces.
