how to model the increase in water height ?

hello everyone
I'm new in Ansys CFX , and I want to model a flooded river , I have already read the tutorial example "flow over a bump", but I do not know how to model the increase in water height and overflow versus time

Thanks for your help.

If you do more of the CFX tutorials you will understand it better. It is a simple CEL function to do what you propose.

I don't think CFX is the right tool for modeling a flooded river, you might be able to to do a short prismatic reach but that's not a river and to import a real river topography data into design modeler you need a third part tool like ProE. however as Glen mentioned use a CEL command at boundaries to control hydrostatic pressure and water level.
