Hi All,

I am interested in knowing the total number of particles passing through a plane created in post.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,

You can export the particle tracks from CFX to so that you will have a file of the coordinates of the each partice where it crosses a cell face.

You can use this data to calculate the number of particles that have crossed the plane which will be easy as long as the plane is something like x=0, etc.

Note: This might be an extremely roundabout way of executing this, but if you are desperate you might try this
