Default Moddeling solid settlement in water tank steady state or transient?

I'm moddeling a water tank iwth solids coming into it and i only need visual representation of solids settling at the bottom . Can this be achieved in steady state simulation or will i have to use transient simulation?

Transient as it looks like a transient effect.
