Strange data obtained after mesh export. any clue?

I need to extract the co-ordinates of nodes of a mesh. I tried to export the data for a simple mesh/geometry. I was able to get information on the co-ordinates of the nodes and their connectivity. (like which nodes form which elements)
However when I tried the same process for a complicated geometry that I am using, some of the node co-ordinates are only assigned one value. For example, say out of 16000 nodes, I get x,y,z coordinates for 15600 nodes. But for the remaining 400 nodes, I obtain only one value. ( it doesn't say whether x, y or z). I find this to be very strange. Any help would be appreciated. regards sindbad |
