Hello all,
I have a transient problem. How can I calculate the total mass/volumetric flow rate? Thanks. |

Do you mean integrate the mass flow rate over time to give a total mass? (or total volume)
In the solver use a monitor point to output the flow rate. Export the monitor point data and do the integration in Excel/matlab/whatever. In CFD-Post, similarly load each timestep you saved and export the flow rate. Do the time integration in another package like excel/matlab. |

Thanks for your response,
But I can not find flow rate in monitor point menu, I can see only velocity. The same is in CFD-Post... Thanks |

Use a CEL expression, such as massflow()@Location.
